We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Production Assistant. As a Production Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from producing news segments to filming live events. Work closely with the production team to assist in all aspects of television production, including pre-production, production, and post-production.<\/p>\n
Assist in setting up and operating equipment for filming, including cameras, lighting, and audio.<\/p>\n
Conduct research and gather information for news segments and other production projects.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with producers and directors to develop creative and engaging content.<\/p>\n
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new projects and segments.<\/p>\n
Assist in the coordination of live events and ensure all necessary equipment and personnel are in place.<\/p>\n
Help with script writing, storyboarding, and other pre-production tasks.<\/p>\n
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.<\/p>\n
Maintain organized and accurate records of production schedules, scripts, and other production-related documents.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on set or on location.<\/p>\n
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology related to television production.<\/p>\n
Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to support the production team.<\/p>\n
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Lobo TV both on and off-campus.<\/p>\n
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n
Uphold the values and standards of Lobo TV and the University of New Mexico at all times.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Film, Media Production, Or A Related Field<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience In Television Production, Including Camera Operation, Editing, And Studio Set-Up<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Familiarity With Industry-Standard Software And Equipment, Such As Adobe Premiere Pro And Dslr Cameras<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Unm And Its Community, As Well As A Passion For Promoting The University’s Programs And Events Through Video Production.<\/p>\n
