Provide exceptional patient care to children with eye disorders, including performing surgeries and managing their overall treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Conduct groundbreaking research in the field of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and advancing medical knowledge.<\/p>\n
Train and mentor the next generation of physicians, including medical students, residents, and fellows, in the field of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus surgery.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other members of the department, including physicians, nurses, and researchers, to develop and implement innovative treatment approaches and techniques.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and developments in the field of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, and incorporate this knowledge into clinical practice and research.<\/p>\n
Participate in educational and outreach activities to raise awareness about pediatric eye disorders and promote the department’s services and expertise.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital, department, and regulatory policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and safety.<\/p>\n
Engage in professional development activities, such as attending conferences and workshops, to stay current with advancements in the field and maintain licensure.<\/p>\n
Demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, including publishing research findings, presenting at conferences, and participating in departmental and institutional committees.<\/p>\n

Medical Degree: The Candidate Should Hold A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.<\/p>\n

Residency And Fellowship Training: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed A Residency In Ophthalmology And A Fellowship In Pediatric Ophthalmology And Strabismus Surgery.<\/p>\n

Board Certification: The Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Ophthalmology By The American Board Of Ophthalmology.<\/p>\n
