Medical Degree: A Candidate For This Position Must Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.<\/p>\n

Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Internal Medicine And Geriatrics By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Internal Medicine (Aobim).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Clinical Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of Three Years Of Clinical Experience In Internal Medicine Or Geriatrics, With A Focus On Caring For Older Adults.<\/p>\n

Teaching Experience: The Assistant Professor Should Have Experience Teaching Medical Students, Residents, And Fellows In The Field Of Internal Medicine And Geriatrics.<\/p>\n

Research Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Research In The Field Of Geriatrics, With Publications In Peer-Reviewed Journals And Presentations At National Conferences. Previous Experience Securing Grant Funding Is Also Desirable.<\/p>\n
