Act as a primary point of contact for international patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout their healthcare journey.<\/p>\n
Coordinate all aspects of international patient care, including scheduling appointments, arranging transportation and accommodations, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all international patients, including medical history, billing information, and insurance coverage.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless and efficient care for international patients.<\/p>\n
Provide culturally sensitive support and assistance to patients and families, addressing any language or cultural barriers that may arise.<\/p>\n
Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure timely and effective communication and resolution of any concerns or issues.<\/p>\n
Assist with the coordination of necessary medical procedures, tests, and treatments for international patients.<\/p>\n
Stay current on international healthcare regulations and requirements, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.<\/p>\n
Educate international patients and their families on the resources and services available at Baptist Health South Florida.<\/p>\n
Continuously evaluate and improve upon the international patient services program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing new strategies to enhance the patient experience.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Healthcare Administration, International Business, Or A Related Field.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In International Patient Services Or Medical Tourism.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Patients From Diverse Cultural Backgrounds.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Knowledge Of International Healthcare Policies, Regulations, And Procedures.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Proficiency In A Second Language, Preferably Spanish, French, Or Portuguese.<\/p>\n
