Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions and established protocols.<\/p>\n
Maintaining inventory and ordering medications and supplies as needed.<\/p>\n
Collaborating with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal pharmaceutical care.<\/p>\n
Providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.<\/p>\n
Preparing and labeling medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.<\/p>\n
Verifying insurance coverage and processing insurance claims.<\/p>\n
Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.<\/p>\n
Identifying and reporting potential drug interactions or adverse reactions.<\/p>\n
Assisting in the training and supervision of new pharmacy technicians.<\/p>\n
Complying with all safety and quality standards to maintain a safe and clean work environment.<\/p>\n
Staying up-to-date with industry developments and new medications.<\/p>\n
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and implementing process improvements.<\/p>\n
Demonstrating excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience As A Pharmacy Technician In A Hospital Or Health System Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Completion Of An Accredited Pharmacy Technician Program Or Certification From A Nationally Recognized Organization (E.g. Ptcb).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Medication Dispensing, Inventory Management, And Sterile Compounding.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills To Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.<\/p>\n
