Coordinate and manage the care of patients with cardiac devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and heart monitors<\/p>\n
Monitor and track patient progress and device function, making any necessary adjustments or interventions<\/p>\n
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with cardiac devices<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on the proper use and maintenance of cardiac devices, as well as potential risks and complications<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and technologies in cardiac devices and their programming<\/p>\n
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with cardiac devices, identifying any potential issues or concerns<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and device programming, adhering to all HIPAA and regulatory guidelines<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for cardiac device management<\/p>\n
Serve as a resource and mentor for other healthcare professionals regarding cardiac devices and patient care.<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Cardiac Device Program Or Cardiology Department<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (Ccds) Or Certified Cardiac Device Specialist- Advanced (Ccds-A) Through The International Board Of Heart Rhythm Examiners (Ibhre)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Devices And Their Programming, Troubleshooting, And Management<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Physicians, Patients, And Other Healthcare Professionals<\/p>\n
