Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.<\/p>\n
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Administer and monitor various respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, respiratory medication, and ventilator management.<\/p>\n
Operate and maintain equipment used in respiratory care.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.<\/p>\n
Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately and in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following infection control and safety protocols.<\/p>\n
Participate in continuous education and training to stay current on advancements in respiratory care.<\/p>\n
Serve as a resource and provide guidance to other healthcare team members on respiratory care.<\/p>\n
Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Active And Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Credential From The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Current And Unrestricted State Licensure As A Respiratory Therapist In The State Of Florida.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.<\/p>\n
