Provide exceptional care to patients with heart conditions by assisting the cardiac surgeons during procedures.<\/p>\n
Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments and provide follow-up care for patients.<\/p>\n
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.<\/p>\n
Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.<\/p>\n
Assist in the management of patient flow and coordination of care.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.<\/p>\n
Continuously update knowledge and skills through education and training opportunities.<\/p>\n
Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.<\/p>\n
Provide emotional support to patients and their families during stressful situations.<\/p>\n
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.<\/p>\n

Master’s Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program<\/p>\n

Current Certification By The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa)<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Physician Assistant In A Cardiac Surgery Setting<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Proficient In Performing Pre-Operative Assessments, Assisting In Cardiac Surgeries, And Managing Post-Operative Care For Open Heart Patients<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With The Cardiac Surgery Team And Provide Patient Education On Post-Operative Care And Follow-Up Appointments.<\/p>\n
