Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, in accordance with department protocols and physician orders.<\/p>\n
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, including proper positioning and use of radiation protection.<\/p>\n
Operate and maintain radiology equipment, troubleshoot any technical issues, and report malfunctions or needed repairs.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and provide accurate and timely results.<\/p>\n
Maintain patient records and accurately document procedures and findings.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.<\/p>\n
Continuously stay informed of new developments and techniques in radiology technology and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain procedures and answer any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
An Associate’s Degree In Radiologic Technology From An Accredited Program.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A Valid State License To Practice As A Radiologic Technologist.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Familiarity With Equipment And Software Used In Radiology, Such As X-Ray Machines, Pacs Systems, And Dicom.<\/p>\n
