Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiographic equipment.<\/p>\n
Prepare and position patients for procedures in a safe and efficient manner.<\/p>\n
Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.<\/p>\n
Operate specialized imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI.<\/p>\n
Ensure the accuracy and quality of images produced.<\/p>\n
Assess and evaluate images to determine if additional images or procedures are necessary.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families about procedures and answer any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.<\/p>\n
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functioning.<\/p>\n

Valid License: Candidates For The Pool Invasive Radiology Technologist Position At Baptist Health South Florida Must Hold A Valid License As A Radiologic Technologist In The State Of Florida. This Ensures That They Have Met The Necessary Education And Training Requirements To Safely And Effectively Perform Radiographic Procedures.<\/p>\n

Minimum Education: Applicants Must Have A Minimum Of An Associate’s Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Program. This Ensures That They Have A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Practices Of Radiology.<\/p>\n

Arrt Certification: Candidates Must Hold Current Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Radiography. This Certification Demonstrates That They Have Passed A Comprehensive Exam And Have Met The National Standards For Radiologic Technology.<\/p>\n
