Provide specialized respiratory care to patients with respiratory illnesses or disorders.<\/p>\n
Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, and chest physiotherapy.<\/p>\n
Evaluate and monitor patient response to treatments and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal respiratory function.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in respiratory care practices and technology.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, in the delivery of care.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for respiratory care.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Current And Valid License To Practice As A Respiratory Therapist In The State Of Florida.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certification By The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc) As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment And Effectively Communicate With Patients And Healthcare Professionals.<\/p>\n
