Perform nuclear imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of imaging results.<\/p>\n
Maintain and operate nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards are met.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on various nuclear medicine procedures and address any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n
Monitor patient vital signs and responses during procedures, and report any abnormalities or adverse reactions.<\/p>\n
Administer and record radiopharmaceutical dosage as prescribed by physicians.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.<\/p>\n
Follow infection control and radiation safety protocols to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.<\/p>\n
Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and procedures through ongoing education and training.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n

Current Certification From The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Nuclear Medicine Equipment, Including Pet\/Ct And Spect\/Ct Scanners.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of Radiation Safety Principles And Protocols, With The Ability To Follow Established Safety Procedures And Practices.<\/p>\n
