Conduct mammography procedures according to established protocols and safety standards.<\/p>\n
Prepare and position patients for mammogram screenings, ensuring their comfort and safety.<\/p>\n
Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.<\/p>\n
Review and analyze images to ensure quality and accuracy, and make adjustments as needed.<\/p>\n
Provide clear and detailed explanations to patients about the procedure and any potential risks.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of results.<\/p>\n
Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.<\/p>\n
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.<\/p>\n
Stay current with industry developments and advancements in mammography technology and procedures.<\/p>\n
Educate and train new technologists and students on mammography procedures and equipment.<\/p>\n
Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including ethical and legal standards.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a seamless and coordinated patient experience.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing patient care and workflow.<\/p>\n
Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that their needs are met and their rights are respected.<\/p>\n

Certified Mammography Technologist: The Candidate Must Hold A Current Certification In Mammography From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).<\/p>\n

Knowledge Of Breast Imaging Modalities: The Candidate Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Different Breast Imaging Modalities Such As Digital Mammography, Tomosynthesis, Ultrasound, And Breast Mri.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience In Breast Biopsy Procedures: The Candidate Must Have Experience Performing Breast Biopsy Procedures, Including Stereotactic, Ultrasound-Guided, And Mri-Guided Biopsies.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Radiologists, And Other Healthcare Professionals.<\/p>\n
