Oversee and manage the rehabilitation services department, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.<\/p>\n
Develop and implement strategic plans and goals for the department in alignment with Baptist Health South Florida’s overall mission and vision.<\/p>\n
Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients by monitoring and evaluating the performance of the rehabilitation services team.<\/p>\n
Lead and inspire a team of therapists, assistants, and support staff by providing guidance, mentorship, and support.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and community organizations to promote the department’s services and increase referrals.<\/p>\n
Monitor and manage the department’s budget, including expenses and revenue, to ensure financial sustainability.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to rehabilitation services.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other departments and leaders within Baptist Health South Florida to improve patient care and enhance the overall patient experience.<\/p>\n
Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve the department’s performance and patient outcomes.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team members to foster their professional growth and development.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure they understand their rehabilitation plan and feel supported throughout their treatment.<\/p>\n
Handle any issues or concerns that may arise within the department, including patient complaints, staff conflicts, and operational challenges.<\/p>\n
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where diversity and inclusion are valued and promoted.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in healthcare and ensure that the department is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Or Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited Program.<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Rehabilitation Services.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Prior Management Or Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of Regulatory And Compliance Requirements Related To Rehabilitation Services.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
