Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.<\/p>\n
Ensure proper identification of patients and appropriate labeling of specimens.<\/p>\n

Maintain a clean and organized phlebotomy work area and adhere to infection control and safety standards.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate any fears or concerns and provide a comfortable experience.<\/p>\n
Handle difficult or challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate specimen collection and processing.<\/p>\n

Certification By A Nationally Recognized Organization: Candidates Must Be Certified By A Nationally Recognized Organization Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha). This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Industry Standards For Phlebotomy Skills And Knowledge.<\/p>\n

Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates With Prior Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Medical Clinic, Are Preferred.
