Conduct audits of medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with billing guidelines and regulations.<\/p>\n
Review and analyze billing data to identify potential issues or discrepancies.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with billing and coding teams to resolve any identified issues and improve overall revenue integrity.<\/p>\n
Stay updated on current billing regulations and guidelines to ensure compliant practices.<\/p>\n
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to department leaders and assist in implementing necessary changes.<\/p>\n
Train and educate staff on proper billing and coding procedures to maintain compliance.<\/p>\n
Utilize clinical knowledge and expertise to identify potential areas for improvement in revenue cycle processes.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed audit reports and documentation.<\/p>\n
Participate in revenue cycle improvement initiatives and provide input on best practices.<\/p>\n
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient health information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality and ethical patient care.<\/p>\n
Serve as a resource for staff regarding coding and billing inquiries.<\/p>\n
Attend relevant training and educational opportunities to continue professional development.<\/p>\n

Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Florida<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management<\/p>\n

Proficiency In Coding And Billing Guidelines, Including Cpt, Icd-10, And Hcpcs Codes<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Medicare Regulations And Reimbursement Policies<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail In Conducting Audits And Identifying Revenue Integrity Issues<\/p>\n
