Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures for patients with cardiovascular conditions.<\/p>\n
Set up and operate specialized equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures.<\/p>\n
Prepare patients for procedures and provide education and support throughout the process.<\/p>\n
Monitor patients’ vital signs and assist with administering medications as needed.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure proper patient care and safety during procedures.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.<\/p>\n
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.<\/p>\n
Stay current on new techniques and technologies in the field of invasive cardiology.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and HIPAA regulations.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the development and implementation of best practices.<\/p>\n
Provide exceptional customer service and promote a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families.<\/p>\n
Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and trainings.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Certification: Must Possess Current Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (Rcvt) From A Recognized Accrediting Agency.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Education: Minimum Of An Associate’s Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience: At Least 1 Year Of Experience As An Invasive Cardiovascular Tech, Preferably In A Cardiac Catheterization Lab Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Equipment And Procedures: Thorough Understanding And Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Equipment Used In Invasive Cardiovascular Procedures, Such As Angiography Systems, Intravascular Ultrasound (Ivus), And Pressure Wire Systems.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Communication And Teamwork Skills: Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Must Also Be Able To Maintain Composure In High-Stress Situations And Follow All Safety Protocols.<\/p>\n
