Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date oncology data for patients in accordance with industry standards and regulations.<\/p>\n
Utilize specialized software and tools to collect, analyze, and interpret oncology data.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with the cancer care team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of data.<\/p>\n
Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in oncology data.<\/p>\n
Monitor and track trends in oncology data to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.<\/p>\n
Stay current with industry updates and changes in oncology data management.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field.<\/p>\n

Certified Tumor Registrar (Ctr) Credential From The National Cancer Registrars Association (Ncra).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Certified Oncology Data Specialist 1 Or Equivalent Role.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Proficient In Cancer Registry Software Systems And Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of Oncology Terminology, Coding Standards, And Data Quality Standards.<\/p>\n
