Perform sterilization processes according to established guidelines and protocols.<\/p>\n
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of surgical equipment and instruments.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular checks and inspections of sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning.<\/p>\n
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment at all times.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure timely availability of sterilized equipment for procedures.<\/p>\n
Monitor and maintain inventory of sterile supplies and notify appropriate personnel when supplies need to be ordered.<\/p>\n
Adhere to infection control guidelines and report any potential issues or concerns.<\/p>\n
Keep accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.<\/p>\n
Train and mentor new sterilization team members as needed.<\/p>\n
Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline sterilization processes.<\/p>\n
Remain up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for sterilization.<\/p>\n
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with patients and staff.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Sterilization Tech In A Surgical Setting Or Related Healthcare Field.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Surgical Instruments And Equipment, As Well As Sterilization Techniques And Protocols.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Prior Experience With Maintaining Sterilization Logs And Documentation Of Equipment Maintenance And Repairs.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Surgical Staff And Other Healthcare Professionals.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certification In Sterile Processing And Distribution (Cspd) Or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Preferred.<\/p>\n
