Qualifications:- Must be a registered Mammography Technologist (RT)(M)- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography – Knowledge of proper patient positioning and radiation safety – Ability to operate mammography equipment and perform quality control procedures – Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document patient information – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Current BLS certification – Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records – Ability to work independently and as part of a team – Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.<\/p>\n

Perform high-quality mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.<\/p>\n
Ensure patient safety by following proper radiation safety protocols and practices.<\/p>\n
Accurately position patients for optimal imaging results and adjust equipment as needed.<\/p>\n
Monitor and evaluate image quality to ensure proper positioning and exposure.<\/p>\n
Maintain and operate mammography equipment, including performing routine quality control procedures.<\/p>\n
Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner using electronic medical records.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.<\/p>\n
Stay current on new developments and techniques in mammography and attend trainings as needed.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.<\/p>\n
Work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.<\/p>\n
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.<\/p>\n
Foster a compassionate and caring environment for patients and their families.<\/p>\n
Maintain current BLS certification and other required certifications.<\/p>\n

Current Certification As A Mammography Technologist By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Mammography, Preferably In A Hospital Or Diagnostic Center Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Current Mammography Imaging Technology And Equipment, Including Digital Mammography, Breast Tomosynthesis, And Breast Ultrasound.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of Breast Anatomy And Pathology, As Well As Proficiency In Positioning And Compression Techniques.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, With A Focus On Providing Compassionate And Accurate Mammography Services To Patients.<\/p>\n
