Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.<\/p>\n
Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information accurately and efficiently.<\/p>\n
Educate patients on their financial responsibilities, including insurance coverage and payment options.<\/p>\n
Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.<\/p>\n
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.<\/p>\n
Work closely with insurance companies to verify coverage and obtain authorizations as needed.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure a smooth and timely registration process.<\/p>\n
Coordinate with other departments to resolve any registration or billing issues.<\/p>\n
Review patient accounts and ensure all charges are accurately captured.<\/p>\n
Process payments and reconcile daily deposits.<\/p>\n
Maintain organized and accurate patient records.<\/p>\n
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.<\/p>\n
Keep up-to-date with insurance and billing regulations.<\/p>\n
Participate in training and development opportunities.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
High School Diploma Or Equivalent, With Preference For An Associate’s Degree In Business Administration Or Related Field.<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Patient Financial Services Or Patient Access Role.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Processes, Including Knowledge Of Medicare, Medicaid, And Commercial Insurance Plans.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Insurance Companies, And Healthcare Providers.<\/p>\n

Proficient In Computer Skills, Including Experience With Electronic Medical Records And Billing Systems.<\/p>\n
