Provide exceptional patient care to a diverse population in the Step Down\/Progressive Care unit.<\/p>\n
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.<\/p>\n
Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff.<\/p>\n
Document and maintain accurate medical records for each patient.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and medication regimens.<\/p>\n
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.<\/p>\n
Act as an advocate for patients and ensure their needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner.<\/p>\n
Continuously assess and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.<\/p>\n
Stay current on new developments and best practices in nursing and implement them into clinical practice.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to creating a culture of continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.<\/p>\n
Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n

Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Florida.<\/p>\n

Bls And Acls Certifications From The American Heart Association.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Recent Experience In A Step-Down Or Progressive Care Unit.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.<\/p>\n
