Provide exceptional patient care: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgery, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with healthcare team: The RN will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.<\/p>\n
Assess and monitor patients: The RN will be responsible for conducting thorough patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, and identifying any changes in patient condition during and after surgery.<\/p>\n
Administer medications and treatments: The Registered Nurse will administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, ensuring accurate dosing and patient safety.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate records: The RN will be responsible for documenting patient care, procedures, and medications accurately and in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and families: The Registered Nurse will provide education to patients and their families about the surgical process, post-operative care, and potential complications.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures: The RN will adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure the highest level of patient safety and quality care.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives: The RN will actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and improve processes within the Surgery department.<\/p>\n
Manage equipment and supplies: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for maintaining and organizing surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and readily available for use.<\/p>\n
Demonstrate professionalism and compassion: The RN will exhibit professionalism and compassion in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues, serving as a role model for the nursing team.<\/p>\n

Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Florida<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Setting, Preferably In Surgery<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Ability To Work Collaboratively And Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Surgical Environment, With Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills.<\/p>\n
