Conduct financial screenings and assessments for patients to determine their eligibility for insurance coverage and financial assistance programs.<\/p>\n
Communicate with patients and their families to gather necessary information and explain financial policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities for medical services.<\/p>\n
Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations and referrals.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve any disputes or discrepancies.<\/p>\n
Update and maintain accurate patient financial records and documentation.<\/p>\n
Educate patients on available payment options and assist in setting up payment plans.<\/p>\n
Work with patients and their families to identify and apply for financial assistance programs.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to financial clearance processes.<\/p>\n
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on insurance and financial assistance programs.<\/p>\n
