Collect blood samples from patients in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols while performing phlebotomy procedures.<\/p>\n
Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for phlebotomy procedures.<\/p>\n
Train and supervise junior phlebotomists on proper blood collection techniques and safety protocols.<\/p>\n
Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Verify patient information and accurately label and record all collected samples.<\/p>\n
Handle and process specimens according to established procedures and protocols.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and organized records of all phlebotomy procedures performed.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of laboratory results.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date with new techniques and technologies in the field of phlebotomy.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.<\/p>\n
Handle any inquiries or concerns from patients or their families regarding phlebotomy procedures.<\/p>\n
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to phlebotomy procedures.<\/p>\n
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of phlebotomy equipment.<\/p>\n
Act as a role model and mentor for other phlebotomy staff, promoting a positive and professional work culture.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Phlebotomist, With At Least 2 Years In A Senior Or Lead Role.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) Or Equivalent Certification From A Recognized Organization.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Advanced Phlebotomy Techniques And Procedures, Such As Butterfly Needles, Difficult Draws, And Pediatric Phlebotomy.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Team Members.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Proficiency In Data Entry And Record Keeping.<\/p>\n
