Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients undergoing surgery at the Baptist Health South Florida Surgery Center.<\/p>\n
Utilize expert knowledge and skills as a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, and implement patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.<\/p>\n
Monitor and document patient vital signs, medication administration, and post-operative recovery progress.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families about the surgical process, post-operative care, and any potential complications.<\/p>\n
Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in surgical care.<\/p>\n
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bls And Acls Certifications From The American Heart Association.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Current And Active Registered Nurse License In The State Of Florida.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Surgical Setting, Preferably In An Ambulatory Surgery Center.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Make Quick And Accurate Decisions In High-Pressure Situations.<\/p>\n
