Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for cancer patients based on their specific needs and treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Monitor and track patients’ progress and make necessary adjustments to their exercise programs as needed.<\/p>\n
Work closely with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes.<\/p>\n
Provide education and guidance to patients on the importance of physical activity during cancer treatment and beyond.<\/p>\n
Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical capabilities and limitations to develop safe and effective exercise plans.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.<\/p>\n
Stay current on research and advancements in oncology exercise and implement new techniques and strategies as appropriate.<\/p>\n
Create a positive and supportive environment for patients to exercise and address any concerns or challenges they may have.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients during exercise sessions.<\/p>\n
Participate in team meetings and provide input on patient progress and treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.<\/p>\n
Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.<\/p>\n

Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist (Ces) Through The American College Of Sports Medicine (Acsm)<\/p>\n
