Administer radiation treatments to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Monitor and assess patients’ reactions to treatment and report any adverse reactions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during their treatments.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.<\/p>\n
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on the radiation therapy process and potential side effects.<\/p>\n
Stay current on advancements and changes in radiation therapy technology and techniques.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice.<\/p>\n
Maintain a professional and caring demeanor at all times.<\/p>\n
Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of radiation therapy equipment.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Radiation Therapy Or Related Field<\/p>\n

Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Radiation Therapy<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Regulations And Procedures<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
