Prepare surgical equipment and supplies: The Surgical Technologist 3 will be responsible for ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly sterilized before each surgical procedure.<\/p>\n
Assist surgeons during procedures: The Surgical Technologist 3 will work closely with the surgical team to anticipate the needs of the surgeon and assist with necessary instruments, sutures, and other tools.<\/p>\n
Maintain a sterile environment: It is the responsibility of the Surgical Technologist 3 to maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room, following all infection control protocols and guidelines.<\/p>\n
Monitor patient vitals: The Surgical Technologist 3 will be responsible for monitoring and documenting patient vitals throughout the surgical procedure to ensure the patient’s safety and well-being.<\/p>\n
Anticipate potential complications: The Surgical Technologist 3 will use their experience and knowledge to anticipate potential complications during surgical procedures and be prepared to assist the surgical team in addressing them.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with the surgical team: The Surgical Technologist 3 will work closely with the surgical team, including surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.<\/p>\n
Maintain surgical equipment: It is the responsibility of the Surgical Technologist 3 to properly clean and maintain surgical equipment to ensure its proper functioning and longevity.<\/p>\n
Adhere to safety standards: The Surgical Technologist 3 will follow all safety protocols and standards to ensure the safety of themselves, the surgical team, and the patient.<\/p>\n
Keep accurate records: The Surgical Technologist 3 will be responsible for accurately documenting all procedures, supplies used, and patient information in the medical records.<\/p>\n
Continuously improve skills and knowledge: The Surgical Technologist 3 will stay current on new surgical techniques and equipment, and continuously strive to improve their skills and knowledge to provide the best possible care to patients.<\/p>\n

Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Credential From The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa)<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience As A Surgical Technologist In A Hospital Or Ambulatory Surgery Center Setting<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Advanced Surgical Procedures And Equipment, Including Robotics And Minimally Invasive Techniques<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Understanding Of Sterile Technique And Infection Control Protocols<\/p>\n
