Provide high-quality care to older adults in a fast-paced acute care setting.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop personalized care plans for older patients.<\/p>\n
Monitor and assess telemetry readings to ensure timely and appropriate interventions.<\/p>\n
Administer medications and treatments according to protocols and standards of care.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to educate and update them on patient status and treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Advocate for older patients’ needs and ensure their comfort and safety during their hospital stay.<\/p>\n
Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential complications or changes in patient condition.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.<\/p>\n
Stay current on best practices and evidence-based approaches for caring for older adults.<\/p>\n
Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for patients, families, and team members.<\/p>\n
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of practice.<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n

Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 2 Years Of Acute Care Experience With Older Adult Patients.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certification In Telemetry Monitoring.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Geriatric Care Principles And Evidence-Based Practices For Older Adults.<\/p>\n
