Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to patients with respiratory illnesses.<\/p>\n

Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.<\/p>\n
Perform diagnostic tests to assess respiratory function and make recommendations for treatment.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and document all treatments provided.<\/p>\n
Adhere to infection control procedures and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.<\/p>\n
Stay current on advancements and best practices in respiratory care through continuing education and training.<\/p>\n
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.<\/p>\n
Work in a collaborative and supportive manner with other members of the healthcare team.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the respiratory care department.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Respiratory Therapist, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field From An Accredited Program.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Current And Active Respiratory Therapist License In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certification By The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc), Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Preferred.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced Healthcare Environment.<\/p>\n
