Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in the Ortho\/Spine Unit.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.<\/p>\n
Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs.<\/p>\n
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.<\/p>\n
Monitor patients’ vital signs and ensure timely and appropriate interventions.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families about the treatment plan, including post-operative care and rehabilitation.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.<\/p>\n
Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are taken into consideration.<\/p>\n
Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and address potential complications and make appropriate referrals.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as nursing standards of practice.<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution: Candidates For A Registered Nurse Position At Yale New Haven Health System Must Possess A Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Foundation In Nursing Theory And Practice, And Is Equipped To Handle The Complex Demands Of An Orthopedic And Spine Unit.<\/p>\n
