Administer infusion therapy and ensure proper dosing and monitoring of patients.<\/p>\n
Coordinate and manage care for patients in the day hospital setting.<\/p>\n
Utilize nursing knowledge and skills to provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients.<\/p>\n
Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on their condition and treatment options.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.<\/p>\n
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.<\/p>\n
Stay current with advancements and changes in infusion therapy and nursing practices.<\/p>\n
Provide emotional support to patients and their families during their treatment journey.<\/p>\n
Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.<\/p>\n
Advocate for patients and their needs within the healthcare system.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.<\/p>\n
Maintain professional standards and ethics in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.<\/p>\n
Attend trainings, conferences, and other educational opportunities to continuously enhance nursing skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bls And Acls Certification From The American Heart Association.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Infusion Therapy And\/Or Day Hospital Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, As Well As Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced Environment.<\/p>\n
