Provide direct care and support to cardiac and pediatric patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.<\/p>\n
Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.<\/p>\n
Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.<\/p>\n
Administer medication and assist with medical procedures as instructed by healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.<\/p>\n
Continuously monitor patients for any changes in condition and report to the appropriate healthcare provider.<\/p>\n
Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.<\/p>\n
Attend and actively participate in training and educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n
Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Certification As A Personal Care Assistant (Pca) With A Specialization In Cardiac And Pediatric Care.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Cardiac Or Pediatric Unit.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Familiarity With Cardiac Monitoring Equipment And Pediatric Medical Equipment.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge Of Basic Cardiac And Pediatric Care Procedures, Including Administering Medication And Performing Cpr.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Families, And Medical Staff.<\/p>\n
