Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical surgical\/telemetry unit<\/p>\n
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans<\/p>\n
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians<\/p>\n
Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team<\/p>\n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plan, and self-care techniques<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care<\/p>\n
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff<\/p>\n
Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge<\/p>\n
Comply with all regulatory requirements and maintain licensure and certification<\/p>\n
Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n

Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Medical-Surgical\/Telemetry Unit.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced Environment.<\/p>\n
