Provide exceptional care to patients undergoing transplant procedures.<\/p>\n
Monitor and assess patients’ physical and emotional well-being before, during, and after surgery.<\/p>\n
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for patients.<\/p>\n
Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and changes in condition.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on post-transplant care and management.<\/p>\n
Ensure proper functioning of equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.<\/p>\n
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.<\/p>\n
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.<\/p>\n
Keep up-to-date with current transplant procedures, protocols, and best practices.<\/p>\n
Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n

Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Multidisciplinary Team.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Valid And Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Rn, With At Least 1 Year In A Transplant Unit Or Critical Care Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certification In Transplant Nursing (Ctn) From The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc).<\/p>\n
