Provide exceptional care to patients recovering from stroke and managing heart and vascular conditions.<\/p>\n
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.<\/p>\n
Monitor and assess patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on disease management, medications, and lifestyle changes.<\/p>\n
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.<\/p>\n
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.<\/p>\n
Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.<\/p>\n
Stay updated on current trends and advancements in cardiovascular care.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.<\/p>\n
Serve as an advocate for patients and their families.<\/p>\n
Continuously evaluate and improve patient care processes.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.<\/p>\n
Mentor and train new staff members.<\/p>\n
Maintain professional development and certifications.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with community resources to provide support for patients after discharge.<\/p>\n
Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.<\/p>\n

Bls And Acls Certification.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Cardiovascular\/Vascular Unit Or With Stroke Patients.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Additional Certifications Such As Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (Cnrn) Or Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (Csrs) Are Preferred.<\/p>\n
