Assisting in the care and comfort of patients undergoing major surgical procedures.<\/p>\n
Monitoring and recording patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels.<\/p>\n
Assisting with patient positioning and transferring during surgeries.<\/p>\n
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.<\/p>\n
Assisting with pre-operative and post-operative care, including wound care and medication administration.<\/p>\n
Communicating with patients and their families, providing compassionate support and addressing any concerns or questions.<\/p>\n
Collaborating with nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.<\/p>\n
Adhering to strict infection control and safety protocols.<\/p>\n
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care.<\/p>\n
Participating in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n
Responding to emergency situations and providing immediate assistance.<\/p>\n
Demonstrating empathy, patience, and respect towards patients of all ages and backgrounds.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n

Completion Of An Accredited Patient Care Technician Program Or Equivalent Training In A Healthcare Setting.<\/p>\n

Current Certification As A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Equivalent.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Major Surgery Unit Or Similar Acute Care Setting.<\/p>\n

Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Infection Control Protocols, And Patient Care Techniques.<\/p>\n
