Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients with neurological conditions.<\/p>\n
Monitor and assess patient’s condition, administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment options and self-care techniques.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.<\/p>\n
Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient situations.<\/p>\n
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of medical equipment and technology.<\/p>\n
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.<\/p>\n
Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed.<\/p>\n
Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with unit leadership to identify and implement quality improvement initiatives.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Neuro Stepdown Unit Or Similar Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge And Proficiency In Neurology And Neurocritical Care Nursing, Including Assessment, Monitoring, And Treatment Of Neurological Conditions And Interventions.<\/p>\n
