<\/p>\n
Conduct regular patrols of Yale New Haven Health System facilities to monitor for potential security threats and ensure the safety of employees and patients.<\/p>\n
Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies, including but not limited to medical emergencies, aggressive or disruptive behavior, and property damage.<\/p>\n
Utilize security systems and equipment, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems, to maintain a secure environment.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other members of the protective services team, as well as law enforcement and emergency services personnel, to effectively respond to security incidents and ensure a coordinated and effective approach.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security incidents and activities, including written reports and incident logs.<\/p>\n
Provide a visible and approachable presence to deter potential security threats and provide reassurance to employees and patients.<\/p>\n
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current on best practices in security and emergency response.<\/p>\n
Conduct investigations and gather evidence as needed for security incidents and violations.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively and professionally with all members of the Yale New Haven Health System community, including employees, patients, and visitors.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, as well as Yale New Haven Health System policies and procedures, in the performance of duties.<\/p>\n
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle all security matters with discretion and professionalism.<\/p>\n
Serve as a role model for other protective services officers and provide mentorship and training as needed.<\/p>\n
Continuously assess and identify potential security vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvements to security protocols and procedures.<\/p>\n
Assist with access control and monitoring of employee and visitor credentials.<\/p>\n
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Protective Services Manager or other supervisory personnel.<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Law Enforcement Or Security Services, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Must Possess A Valid State Driver’s License And Have A Clean Driving Record.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certification In First Aid, Cpr, And Aed.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
