Administer infusion therapy to patients according to established protocols and physician orders.<\/p>\n
Monitor patients’ vital signs and response to infusion therapy, making necessary adjustments and reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.<\/p>\n
Ensure the safe and effective delivery of medications, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions, treatments, and medications administered.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on the infusion therapy process, potential side effects, and necessary precautions.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date on the latest research, technology, and techniques related to infusion therapy.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all legal and ethical standards, including HIPAA regulations, in handling patient information and maintaining confidentiality.<\/p>\n
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stocked and maintained.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.<\/p>\n
