Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments according to established protocols and procedures.<\/p>\n
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans for each patient.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and necessary precautions.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure effective and coordinated patient care.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including medication administration and treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as needed.<\/p>\n
Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients.<\/p>\n
Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and respond to potential complications or adverse reactions.<\/p>\n
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during the infusion therapy process.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date on current infusion therapy techniques, treatments, and equipment.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.<\/p>\n
Maintain professional standards and adhere to all regulatory requirements and ethical standards.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community resources to ensure continuity of care for patients.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Current Rn License In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bsn Degree From An Accredited Nursing Program.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Infusion Rn.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certification In Infusion Therapy (Crni) Preferred.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Infusion Therapy Equipment And Procedures, Including Iv Therapy Management And Sterile Technique.<\/p>\n
