Provide exceptional care to patients in critical situations, specifically in the neurology and intensive care setting.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement specialized care plans for patients in the Neuro ICU.<\/p>\n
Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, and make necessary adjustments to the care plan.<\/p>\n
Administer medications and perform procedures as directed by physicians.<\/p>\n
Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care to stabilize patients.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including documenting all assessments, treatments, and medications.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plan, and self-care practices.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in neurology and critical care to provide the best possible care to patients.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and comprehensive patient care.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certifications.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Neurology Or Critical Care.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Intensive Care Unit, Preferably With A Focus On Neurological Patients.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Critical Care Registered Nurse (Ccrn) Certification Or Willingness To Obtain Within 6 Months Of Hire.<\/p>\n
