Provide direct patient care to individuals admitted to the Ortho\/Spine Unit.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.<\/p>\n
Monitor and assess patient health and progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and medications.<\/p>\n
Document patient care and progress accurately and in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.<\/p>\n
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and progress.<\/p>\n
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.<\/p>\n
Stay current with evidence-based practices and participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.<\/p>\n
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.<\/p>\n
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.<\/p>\n
Serve as an advocate for patients and ensure their rights are respected.<\/p>\n
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.<\/p>\n
Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certification.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse License In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Setting, Preferably With Orthopedic Or Spine Patients.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Knowledge And Proficiency In Orthopedic And Spine Procedures, Treatments, And Medications.<\/p>\n
