Assist in surgical procedures: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals in performing surgical procedures. This includes preparing operating rooms, organizing surgical instruments and equipment, and assisting with patient positioning.<\/p>\n
Ensure patient safety: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety. This includes following proper infection control protocols, monitoring patient vital signs, and responding to any emergency situations.<\/p>\n
Maintain surgical equipment: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for ensuring that all surgical equipment is properly sterilized and functional. This includes regularly checking equipment, troubleshooting any issues, and restocking supplies as needed.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with surgical team: The Surgical Technologist will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process. This includes effectively communicating and anticipating the needs of the surgical team.<\/p>\n
Provide exceptional patient care: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This includes addressing any patient concerns and ensuring their comfort and well-being.<\/p>\n
Continuously learn and grow: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and advancements in technology. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures: The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for following all hospital policies and procedures related to patient care, safety, and infection control.
