Operate and maintain X-ray equipment in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures.<\/p>\n
Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.<\/p>\n
Position patients correctly and accurately to obtain the best possible images.<\/p>\n
Adjust X-ray equipment settings to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure.<\/p>\n
Process, review, and analyze X-ray images to ensure quality and accuracy.<\/p>\n
Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and ensure proper imaging techniques are used.<\/p>\n
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.<\/p>\n
Monitor and maintain inventory of X-ray supplies and equipment.<\/p>\n
Keep accurate records and documentation of all X-ray procedures.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure equipment and procedures are up to standards.<\/p>\n
Follow established safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.<\/p>\n
Attend continuing education and training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and techniques in the field of radiology.<\/p>\n

A Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n

Current Certification As A Registered Technologist (Rt) By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As An Xray Technologist In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Xray Equipment, Including Digital Imaging Systems.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Team Members.<\/p>\n
