Coordinate the delivery of perioperative nursing care to ensure high-quality and efficient patient outcomes.<\/p>\n
Utilize expert knowledge and skills in the perioperative setting to provide guidance and support to the nursing staff.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement evidence-based practices and protocols.<\/p>\n
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the perioperative team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.<\/p>\n
Serve as a resource for staff, providing education and training on new techniques, equipment, and procedures.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to perioperative nursing.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to keep abreast of new products and technologies.<\/p>\n
Act as a liaison between the perioperative department and other departments within the healthcare system.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and seek opportunities to enhance patient care and satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and outcomes.<\/p>\n
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n

Current Rn License In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certification In Perioperative Nursing (Cnor) Preferred.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Perioperative Nursing, With At Least 3 Years In A Leadership Or Educational Role.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Knowledge Of Perioperative Nursing Practices, Standards, And Regulations, As Well As Experience With Surgical Technology And Equipment.<\/p>\n
