Provide compassionate and quality care to patients with respiratory illnesses or disorders.<\/p>\n
Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians.<\/p>\n
Monitor patients’ respiratory status and make adjustments to treatments as needed.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.<\/p>\n
Stay current on advancements and changes in respiratory therapy practices and equipment.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.<\/p>\n
Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions as needed.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.<\/p>\n
Participate in departmental meetings and training opportunities.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certification From The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc) As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Multidisciplinary Team.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Current Licensure As A Respiratory Therapist In The State Of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
