Provide legal guidance and expertise on all matters related to data governance and protection.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
Stay abreast of evolving data privacy laws and regulations and advise the company on potential impact and necessary adjustments.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance practices are integrated into business processes.<\/p>\n
Conduct data privacy impact assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.<\/p>\n
Review and negotiate contracts and agreements related to data privacy and protection.<\/p>\n
Train and educate employees on data privacy laws and best practices.<\/p>\n
Monitor and investigate data privacy incidents and determine appropriate response and remediation.<\/p>\n
Advise on data sharing and transfer agreements with third parties.<\/p>\n
Represent the company in legal proceedings related to data governance and privacy.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Serve as a subject matter expert on data governance and privacy matters for the company.<\/p>\n
Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s data assets and their value in order to effectively advise on data protection strategies.<\/p>\n
Communicate and collaborate with senior leadership on data governance and privacy matters.<\/p>\n
Continuously assess and improve the company’s data governance and privacy program.<\/p>\n
