Oversee daily operations of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling.<\/p>\n
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of patient care and safety in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.<\/p>\n
Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.<\/p>\n
Ensure adequate staffing levels and appropriate utilization of resources to meet patient needs and maintain a high level of efficiency.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with blood disorders.<\/p>\n
Serve as a key point of contact for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues and providing educational resources.<\/p>\n
Monitor and maintain unit compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular staff meetings and participate in hospital-wide committees to promote teamwork, communication, and professional development.<\/p>\n
Serve as a role model for compassionate and evidence-based nursing care, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
Stay informed about advancements and changes in the field of oncology nursing and bone marrow transplantation, and incorporate new knowledge into unit practices.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Current, Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Ohio<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Bone Marrow Transplant Unit<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Certification In Oncology Nursing (Ocn) Or Bone Marrow Transplant (Bmt) Nursing Preferred<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Clinical Knowledge And Expertise In Bone Marrow Transplant Procedures And Protocols, Including Experience With Car-T Cell Therapy And Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation.<\/p>\n
